Review - Feature:
The other sounds are a bit of a waste for me but the d-beam is great. I think leaving off the edit screan was a mistake.

Quality:
Roland has never failed me.

Value:
Better then the CX-3 at over $300.00 less.

Sound:
The sound is great no doubt about it. The Korg cx-3 has a smoother sound but when it's time to get dirty the CX-3 sounds digital and synthetic. The VK-8 sounds best when overdriven a bit.

I have never needed them so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt.
