This is the best synth I've ever owned! That means a lot because I've been using synthesizers for over 30 years. The very first 88 "Piano" action keyboard I purchased was the Korg T-1. To this day I never found a keyboard with better action until the "Fantom S88". The T-1 cost me over $3000.00 with 8 megs of samples and 128K of sampling time. The Fantom can be quickly updated to 288 MB of Sampling Ram for only $74.00. I was nervous about being one of the first buyers of a brand new synth model. All I can say is everything this keyboard is suppose to do does exactly what it does. It is incredibly easy to learn all of its functions including sampling, uploading/downloading wav and song material from the computer, the computer librarian works through a midi connection and the internal 64 MB of sounds are all new sounds that you haven't heard elsewhere before. Its a composer's "dream come true". You can start composing songs from anywhere you happen to be inside the software, programs, patches, samples, rhythms, card or installed memory. It has so much power yet is so easy to operate.I spend at least 3 hours a day on it. The keyboard never gets "old" and you never run out of ideas with its sampling opportunity.
