Fatar SL990XP 88-Note Controller Keyboard
Fatar.
Review - Feature: The SL990-XP does NOT have "8 Global Velocity Curves" as the ZZ description says. It has one, you cannot change it. It also doesn't have aftertouch. The feel is typical hammer action synth quality, same action as the Alesis QS8.x. If you can't get used to the quirky numeric keypad (on the keys of the keyboard itself), you'll hate changing parameters. This unit is HEAVY (45 lbs.). If you're gigging with it, buy a hernia belt, and a sturdy keyboard stand.
Quality: If you can judge quality by the weight of this thing, then it ought to last a lifetime. It's a tank.
Value: If you need hammer action weighted, this is fairly good value. Again, no aftertouch.
