For a midi controller it is well equipped! The free midi software that runs on Windows, OS X, or OS 9 gives you all the freedom you could ever want.
Quality:
I own an Evolution MK249C and I thought all USB midi controller were the same. I walked into the Apple store in Las Vegas and they had nice Two-Octave Edirol and Reason running on a Mac and I started writing a tune in the store. I could not believe how nice this little controller felt! Solid construction, perfect knobs and sliders, I wanted to take one home with me.
Value:
EXCELLENT value for the money! I have not compared it to the Novation ReMOTE 25 but what I do know is this little guy is welcome in my studio anytime. I definitely feel like picking one up right now because they are so cheap and built so well! :)
Desirability:
Cosmetically it is very attractive looking. As I said before, the construction feels solid. The keys feel like an Access Virus. Good quality and built.

This should be the best sub-$200 product of the year! There is now a new version that has an audio card built into the unit just like the Novation ReMOTE 25 Audio.
