Clavia Nord Lead NL2X 49-Key Virtual Analog Keyboard
Clavia Nord.
Review - Feature: If only it had a better keybed but at this price point, the keybed is still better than the competition.
Quality: Light and sturdy construction. Perfect for mobility.
Value: Definately worth the money.
Desirability: I wanted a portable synth companion for my MC-909. I had also considered the MS2000B and the Alesis ION. The MS didn't have enough polyphony and I hated the flat panel ergonomics of the ION. The Nord Lead is lighter, has more polyphony, and it's design makes it much easier to move when your on the go.
Sound: It's a Nord Lead. It needs no effects. Outstanding sound.
Overall: A great upgrade to a modern classic. I plan on having this synth for a long time. For the most part, I think that Clavia have been overcharging for their synths for years, but I would say that this synth is worth every penny.
