Ovation applied 30-odd years of guitarmaking innovation to design an affordable guitar that doesn't sound like an affordable guitar. The Summit Series is proof of that.

Review - Feature: Good for the price. I could test it on my guitar (it was faulty), but went to nearest guitar shop. At low frequencies it would saturate.
Quality: Quiality is good. However when you try to tune it properly (not flat) it would generate visible bulge on the top. Looks a little disturbing.
Value: It is all right, but I think people are byuing this guitar because of its looks. It looks cool. But, hey, it is your ears and fingers.
Desirability: As I mentioned earlier it is cool to showcase. I am returning mine to get Yamaha, which is more expensive but sound better than Ovation Balladeer which is even more pricier.
Sound: It is not too bad for the price you pay, but is very flat when compared to a standard dreadnough such as YamahaFGX series. Especially if you must play barre it sounds like...mandoline. Deeper body version of Ovation like Balladeer are better but they compete (not favourably)at different price range guitars.
